A combination of current rules for churches and COVID Safe events during holidays have been considered. We will be following a COVID Safe Event Checklist and a Statement of Compliance. A commitment by all Leaders and Helpers will be required to follow the checklist rules set out for the event.
There will be separate entry and exit points. These may be set up as train stations where the children arrive and depart from. Drop & Go will be encouraged as this will make for a safe environment and families are familiar with this process from schools. Kindy will need to operate as an entity in itself this year. Parents will be required to drop their children off there and collect them from there.
A daily record of attendees will be kept for 56 days. Each person will have their health checked and if found to be ill will be requested to not attend on that day. Hand sanitiser will be used by all people who enter at the entry point. Floor markings of 1.5m distance to avoid queuing will be in place.
Each family will need to sign a declaration that they have not been overseas or to a declared COVID hotspot in the last 14 days or have been in contact with a confirmed covid case. All families please download and bring with them on the Monday morning. Additional copies will be available for those who forget.
Each person attending will be required to bring his/her own drink bottle, morning tea and lunch in a backpack/bag.
